Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs.
- Migrate and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Automate backend deployments and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization for cost-effectiveness and scalability.
- Implement application and cloud security measures based on OWASP practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues.
- Use AI tools such as Claude and Codex in development, code reviews, and productivity workflows.
- Mentor colleagues through guidance, support, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps professionals, and cloud architects.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience with TypeScript.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Understanding of Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka, SNS, and SQS.
- Understanding of security concepts and OWASP best practices.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, observability, and CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of quality engineering practices.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design is an asset.
- Fluent English communication skills.
