Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain microservices for Signicat’s MobileID and Digital Identity Wallet solutions.
- Own services end to end, including code, tests, deployment, monitoring, and production behavior.
- Develop REST APIs in Java and Kotlin for use by other teams.
- Run services on Kubernetes and contribute to the delivery platform.
- Strengthen solution security through threat modeling, standards awareness, authentication protocols, and key handling.
- Participate in architecture decisions and technical discussions across teams.
- Use AI-assisted tools and integrate them into everyday engineering work.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Java and/or Kotlin.
- Experience with Spring or a comparable JVM framework.
- Experience designing REST APIs used by other teams.
- Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience running services on Kubernetes.
- Hands-on knowledge of relational databases, ideally MySQL; PostgreSQL or other relational databases are also relevant.
- A security-focused approach to API design and attacker scenarios.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools in everyday work.
- Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
- Preferred experience includes Helm, ArgoCD or other GitOps tooling, Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, cryptography, key management, HSMs, mobile authentication, biometrics, device attestation, PSD2, strong customer authentication, or eIDAS.
