Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of cloud platforms supporting large-scale migration, modernization, and new-build transformations.
- Set architectural principles, platform strategy, technology direction, and functional and non-functional requirements with senior stakeholders.
- Make technology decisions and lead execution to achieve positive customer and delivery outcomes.
- Lead and advance Kainos’s Platforms capability, including coaching and developing team members and the wider community.
- Build platform blueprints and standards, contribute to account strategies, and act as a technology ambassador.
- Engage senior customers on AI strategy, governance, return on investment, and responsible AI-augmented delivery.
- Experiment with emerging AI capabilities and translate successful learning into sustainable improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading delivery of platforms underpinning large-scale cloud transformation.
- Experience leading technology decisions and delivery execution that produces positive customer outcomes.
- Experience building relationships with executive and C-level stakeholders and translating technical information for effective decision-making.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop team members and wider communities.
- Demonstrable experience applying AI to improve outcomes and solve complex business or delivery challenges.
- Evidence of converting experimentation and learning into sustainable practices as technology capabilities evolve.
- Preferred experience developing business within an account alongside sales and account managers.
- Preferred experience managing performance, setting objectives, giving feedback, and leading performance reviews.
- Preferred experience recovering challenging projects, creating or promoting products or services, participating in technology communities, and shaping platform capabilities.
- Interest in emerging software delivery and platform engineering trends, including agentic delivery patterns.
