Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise workshops on AI trust, governance, security posture, resilience, and operating models.
- Identify valuable AI use cases and translate business requirements into technical scopes, architectures, delivery phases, estimates, and risk assessments.
- Write deliverable statements of work for AI build and governance engagements.
- Build prototypes and production AI components, including agent workflows, RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, MCP tool integrations, custom adapters, and local tooling.
- Deliver governance and security controls for regulated, cloud-restricted, sovereign, and air-gapped environments.
- Serve as the trusted technical advisor from initial workshop through go-live, including enablement, adoption support, and production troubleshooting.
- Travel to client sites and operate with high autonomy in ambiguous engagements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with modern AI/LLM systems in real projects.
- Practical experience with LLM APIs, frameworks, RAG, agentic workflows, and tool or function calling.
- Hands-on machine learning experience covering model development, evaluation, deployment, operationalization, predictive analytics, and scalable MLOps.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C#/TypeScript.
- Working fluency with at least one major cloud platform, including identity, networking, and data services.
- Ability to scope technical projects from ambiguous requirements and produce credible plans with phases, estimates, and risks.
- Excellent communication skills with senior executives, boards, technical teams, and platform engineers.
- Knowledge of AI governance and compliance frameworks such as EU AI Act, NIS2, ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, or Gartner AI TRiSM is a strong plus.
- Experience with AI security topics, MCP, agent runtimes, vector databases, enterprise data governance, security, backup/resilience, Microsoft 365, multi-cloud environments, regulated industries, air-gapped or sovereign environments, or customer-facing engineering is preferred.
- Additional languages relevant to regional clients are a plus.
