Base Salary
$230k - $322k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and train advanced machine learning models, including deep neural networks and transformers, for Reddit Ads Ranking.
- Develop and optimize embeddings, contextual signals, and cross-session behavior features.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and data teams on model deployment, feature serving, training pipelines, and performance analysis.
- Mentor other machine learning engineers and contribute to modeling best practices across the organization.
- Shape long-term modeling vision across conversion, app ads, shopping, brand, and related domains.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of industry experience, including several years in applied machine learning roles.
- Strong experience with deep learning architectures and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Strong background in recommendation systems, ads ranking, or similar domains.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and complex feature pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and experimentation skills.
- Experience with state-of-the-art models for ads or recommendation systems, such as transformers.
- Knowledge of recommendation systems or the ads funnel.
- Track record of delivering high-impact models in production.
- Ability to collaborate with infrastructure and data teams on feature serving and training pipelines.
- Preferred qualifications include conversion modeling, app ads, performance or brand ads, ads marketplaces at peer companies, and publications, patents, or industry contributions in applied machine learning or ranking systems.
