Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
- Implement complex architectures with enterprise architects while remaining actively involved in development.
- Partner with stakeholders in Agile environments to align technical solutions with business priorities.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into practical solutions using sound engineering judgment.
- Own critical components and drive performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
- Mentor junior engineers and elevate team standards through code reviews and technical leadership.
- Apply best practices in testing, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure to ensure quality and scalability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, REST APIs, real-time streaming architectures, and microservices architecture patterns.
- Experience delivering cloud-native applications on AWS or other major cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architecture in production systems.
- Background in microservices and REST APIs.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps tooling, including tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Document DB.
- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and CloudWatch.
- Ability to write, test, and validate code with ownership of quality and reliability.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across architecture, engineering, and product teams.
- FinTech or highly regulated enterprise experience is a bonus.
- Exposure to LLM workflows, production ML model integration, Kafka, or other streaming technologies is a bonus.
