Base Salary
$140k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end from product brief to production, including data models, APIs, frontend, tests, and rollout.
- Design and evolve domain models and APIs for work orders, engineering changes, effectivity, and defect records.
- Build fast, accessible React interfaces for factory-floor operators.
- Write and review Postgres schemas and migrations while maintaining data integrity.
- Partner with product, design, and manufacturing stakeholders to translate operational needs into software.
- Contribute to architecture, testing, observability, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to ITAR regulations.
- At least 5 years of full-stack engineering experience with production systems at non-trivial scale.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js-based backends.
- Deep experience with relational databases, preferably Postgres, and ORMs, preferably Prisma.
- Experience with indexing, migrations, transactional consistency, and shipping production-quality features with product and design teams.
- Ability to reason about complex domain models and turn them into maintainable software.
- Preferred: experience with manufacturing, supply chain, ERP, MES, PLM, or other industrial software.
- Preferred: familiarity with Docker, AWS or Azure, and Datadog, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Preferred: experience in both startup and scale-stage product engineering.
