Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes fleet management systems for cluster, availability zone, and node lifecycle operations.
  • Automate cluster provisioning, operating system and Kubernetes upgrades, technical refreshes, and decommissioning.
  • Contribute to Linux kernel development, system performance tuning, and OS customization.
  • Build infrastructure automation and diagnostic tools using Go and Python.
  • Implement observability frameworks to monitor system health, performance, and reliability at scale.
  • Collaborate across teams to validate and integrate optimized Linux distributions.
  • Identify system-level gaps, drive issue resolution, mentor team members, and manage small projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Linux systems.
  • Strong understanding of Linux kernel development and OS internals, including process scheduling, memory management, file systems, and networking.
  • Proficiency in C++, Go, or Python.
  • Deep expertise in container orchestration and scalable cluster management systems.
  • Ability to identify system-level and cross-functional issues and drive end-to-end solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members, manage small projects, and collaborate across teams.
