Base Salary
$126k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support Mule 4 APIs and integrations using Anypoint Studio and Anypoint Platform.
- Implement API-led connectivity across System, Process, and Experience APIs with reuse and governance.
- Develop DataWeave transformations for JSON, XML, CSV, and other payload formats.
- Deploy and operate APIs on CloudHub using runtime properties and environment-specific configuration.
- Apply API policies and security controls, including authentication, rate limiting, and SLA enforcement.
- Create and maintain MUnit test suites with mocks, spies, and coverage validation.
- Document API interfaces, contracts, error handling patterns, and reusable assets.
- Partner with DevOps and engineering teams on CI/CD, environment promotion, observability, and performance tuning.
- Monitor deployed integrations, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in incident resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Three to five years of integration development experience, including hands-on Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, and Anypoint Platform experience.
- Salesforce MuleSoft Developer certification is required, or the candidate must be actively pursuing it; additional MuleSoft or Anypoint Platform certifications are beneficial.
- Experience designing, building, testing, and deploying REST-based APIs and integrations.
- Strong DataWeave experience with JSON, XML, Apache Avro, CSV, and related data formats.
- Experience with API lifecycle practices, CloudHub deployment, production support, MUnit testing, API-led connectivity, reusable interfaces, and error contract documentation.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines, environment promotion, performance tuning, Salesforce platforms, Anypoint Platform components, connectors, integration protocols, and real-time Kafka data ingestion.
- Knowledge of RAML or OpenAPI Specification, API security controls, CloudHub runtime configuration, logging, operational monitoring, and System, Process, and Experience API patterns.
- Strong technical documentation and collaboration skills, including experience working with global distributed teams.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and GitHub or comparable DevOps platforms.
