Responsibilities
- Develop software tools and automation solutions for operational efficiency, reliability, and developer experience.
- Design, build, and manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS using infrastructure-as-code and automation practices.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities with Grafana, Prometheus, and related tools.
- Create and maintain dashboards, metrics, and alerts for proactive platform issue detection.
- Identify and implement improvements to platform services, infrastructure, and operational processes.
- Support incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
- Manage application and infrastructure deployments across production and non-production environments using automated delivery pipelines, Helm charts, and GitOps approaches.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar role managing cloud infrastructure and system reliability.
- Strong experience designing, building, and operating infrastructure on Amazon Web Services.
- Experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, CI/CD platforms, GitLab, and Argo CD.
- Hands-on experience with Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, or similar monitoring and observability tools.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and managing workloads in Amazon EKS.
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and operational tooling.
- Experience with automated delivery pipelines and deployments across production and non-production environments.
- Experience with Kafka, Flink, Spark, Iceberg, or similar distributed data platforms is an advantage.
- Fluent spoken and written English is required.
