Base Salary

$134k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and implement services, APIs, and automation tooling for cloud infrastructure.
Write production-quality code in Go, Python, or similar languages.
Build foundational platforms and tools for rapid service provisioning.
Architect cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS, including Kubernetes.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
Identify and mitigate systemic reliability risks in infrastructure design.
Educate the engineering organization on new architectural patterns.
Leverage AI tooling to enhance engineering delivery and automation.
Provide documentation for engineers to promote self-service.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and design guidance.

U.S. citizenship is required due to handling classified federal data.
8+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, or site reliability engineering.
Experience designing and operating cloud platforms at scale across Azure, AWS, or similar.
Proficiency in managed languages like Go, Python, Java, or C# for building services.
Experience architecting and operating Kubernetes platforms at production scale.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience with CI/CD platforms for automating infrastructure and software processes.
Knowledge of observability tools for debugging issues.
Proven track record of leading design reviews and setting engineering standards.
Builder-operator mindset with production ownership experience.
Experience mentoring engineers and conducting technical interviews.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
