Base Salary
$132k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support customer software integration for Aeva sensors and software interfaces.
- Build lightweight custom software solutions, example code, scripts, and prototypes.
- Lead technical discussions, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and integration planning with customers.
- Contribute to technical documentation, application notes, release notes, and other customer-facing materials.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to communicate customer feedback, reproduce issues, and improve product usability.
- Travel up to 10% within the United States and Europe as needed for customer engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on coding experience in C++ and/or Python.
- Ability to use AI coding tools effectively for development, debugging, and prototyping in C++ and Python.
- Experience working in Linux-based development environments.
- Basic networking knowledge, including IP configuration, ports, and connectivity and debugging workflows.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to customers and internal teams.
- Experience with robotics or autonomous vehicle software frameworks such as ROS/ROS2 is preferred.
- Experience with LiDAR, cameras, radar, or related sensing systems is preferred.
