Responsibilities
- Build, test, ship, and deploy physical AI agents to real-world venues.
- Set up and troubleshoot screens, sensors, networking equipment, and edge computing devices on-site.
- Write production software using Python, TypeScript, APIs, and integrations.
- Lead and support deployments at major events and high-profile customer locations.
- Present demonstrations and explain AI systems to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide field observations and feedback to engineering and product teams.
- Own deployments end to end and manage code, hardware, customers, and live events.
Requirements
- Experience delivering enterprise software at a startup or running enterprise projects at a consulting firm is preferred.
- Ability to code in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or a combination of these.
- Demonstrated ability to build and ship software beyond the original specification.
- Interest in and understanding of LLMs, computer vision, and multimodal models.
- Willingness to handle hardware, run cables, carry equipment, and troubleshoot on-site.
- Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-changing, high-pressure startup deployments.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, prompt engineering, or RAG pipelines is a bonus.
- Familiarity with edge computing, IoT, AV systems, or robotics is a bonus.
- Prior startup or hackathon experience and a background in computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, or a related technical field are bonuses.
