Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Own functional solution design for a Salesforce Life Sciences workstream within the direction set by senior architecture leadership.
  • Lead client design workshops and translate outcomes into user stories, functional specifications, and technical designs.
  • Configure and demonstrate Salesforce Life Sciences capabilities, prototypes, and solution walkthroughs.
  • Make domain-level design decisions, document trade-offs, and escalate cross-workstream or platform-wide decisions.
  • Partner with technical leads and developers on buildability, estimation, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and defect triage.
  • Guide and review functional analysts, configurators, and offshore team members while providing coaching and quality oversight.
  • Prepare and present architecture governance and design review materials and apply agreed standards.
  • Support testing, data migration, training, deployment, and post-go-live user adoption.
  • Contribute to proposals, demonstrations, estimates, reusable assets, and practice accelerators.
  • Identify design, scope, and delivery risks and work with leadership on mitigation.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of Salesforce experience in functional design, business analysis, or solution consulting.
  • Minimum three years delivering Salesforce solutions for Life Sciences clients or another regulated industry.
  • Minimum one year of Salesforce Life Sciences patient services experience and one year of Salesforce Life Sciences experience.
  • Working functional and configuration knowledge across the Salesforce Life Sciences landscape.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent minimum 12 years of work experience; an associate's degree requires at least six years of work experience.
  • Preferred experience with Life Sciences Cloud or Health Cloud data and security models, declarative configuration, commercial and HCP engagement, patient services, medical affairs, CRM and Data Cloud integrations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Preferred Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Consultant, Health Cloud Accredited Professional, or Life Sciences Cloud credentials.
