Responsibilities
- Own feature delivery from technical design through implementation, phased feature-flagged rollout, and post-launch measurement.
- Build and refine scalable React Native surfaces for iOS and Android, emphasizing modularity, offline resilience, and pricing correctness.
- Navigate GraphQL APIs and backend pricing data while primarily developing in React Native and TypeScript.
- Maintain unit, integration, and Maestro E2E test coverage and establish metrics, traces, and alerts for critical revenue paths.
- Run and analyze A/B experiments, mentor mid-level engineers through reviews, and share mobile engineering patterns.
- Use AI tools for scoping, design, coding, and test generation while validating generated code.
Requirements
- Senior-level software engineering experience with 2–3+ years of production React Native experience.
- Proficiency with TypeScript and modern React.
- Experience managing complex state, modular architectures, and GraphQL or REST API integrations in large-scale shared codebases.
- Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing, such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, and Maestro.
- Experience with CI/CD release practices and mobile architecture or performance considerations.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate delivery, including validation, error correction, and trade-off analysis.
- Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams.
- Preferred experience includes subscription or pricing systems, mobile performance profiling, experimentation platforms, or observability tools such as Honeycomb and OpenTelemetry.
