Base Salary
$170k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture of APIs, data models, frontend systems, and infrastructure.
- Make and document design decisions that support 100x usage growth.
- Lead cross-team technical work with computer vision, product, and design from scope through launch.
- Ship complete features across the full stack.
- Set standards for code review, testing, and performance.
- Run production systems on AWS and GCP and reduce operational load.
- Mentor engineers and raise the hiring bar.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and running production web applications from frontend through infrastructure.
- Deep experience with React and Python backend development, with Django preferred.
- Experience owning the architecture of a system that scaled to significant usage.
- Experience leading technical direction across teams and mentoring engineers.
- Strong product judgment and the ability to protect scope.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and specialized experience.
