Base Salary
$107k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers and oversee quality, timelines, and project risks.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor engineers and conduct design and code reviews.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders on strategic technology solutions.
- Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support activities.
- Build scalable, event-driven solutions using AWS services and modern architectural patterns.
- Develop and maintain Python-based APIs, integrations, automation, and platform capabilities.
- Analyze requirements, create technical designs, and deliver solutions through Agile methodologies.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
- Master's degree in Arts/Sciences preferred.
- At least 8 years of software development experience required.
- Advanced Python development experience required.
- Experience with APIs and integrations, testing and automation, object-oriented design, and software engineering best practices required.
- AWS experience with ECS, Lambda, EventBridge, and Kinesis required.
- Experience with AWS Airflow or Astronomer, DAG development, dbt, and Snowflake required.
- Experience in institutional investments, asset management, or financial services preferred.
- Experience with event-driven and microservices architectures preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise data platforms and data operations preferred.
- Experience with streaming technologies and real-time data processing preferred.
