Responsibilities
- Build and maintain third-party integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.
- Develop production-quality backend services and integrations with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Contribute to the full development process, from deciding what to build through implementation and release.
- Work across frontend and backend systems in the construction software codebase.
- Read, understand, and work within .NET and C# codebases.
- Use Claude Code or equivalent agentic AI tooling to structure loosely defined capabilities into delivery plans and drive them to production.
- Verify and improve AI-generated code, especially at API boundaries and in integration-critical paths.
- Write and review SQL queries and reason about data access patterns and integration data flows.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for collaboration with technical partners and internal teams across time zones.
- Strong commercial experience building and maintaining third-party integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.
- Solid Node.js and TypeScript development experience building production-quality backend services and integrations independently.
- Ability to work within a .NET/C# codebase without needing to be a .NET specialist.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Demonstrated experience using Claude Code or equivalent agentic AI tooling as a core engineering workflow.
- Strong engineering judgment when reviewing, verifying, and rewriting AI-generated code.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, serverless architectures, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform is highly desirable.
- Experience integrating POS systems, payment processors, or hospitality platforms is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with AI agent orchestration, prompt engineering for code generation, and context management in multi-step agentic workflows is highly desirable.
