Responsibilities
- Design and evolve application and distributed-system architectures based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create architecture blueprints and views that explain how solutions should be built, integrated, deployed, and operated.
- Design API- and microservices-based architectures using synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.
- Address resilience, scalability, security, performance, maintainability, and operational considerations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems while working directly with engineering teams.
Requirements
- Knowledge of software architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience designing API- and microservices-based architectures.
- Practical experience with Docker and containerization.
- Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.
- Understanding of the complete application lifecycle from development and integration through deployment and operations.
- Ability to produce architecture blueprints, investigate complex technical issues, and work at a detailed technical level with engineering teams.
