Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements gathering, system design, code reviews, and customer workshops.
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot MES solutions using AVEVA products.
- Integrate MES solutions with external systems including SAP, PLCs, and SCADA platforms.
- Create system acceptance criteria, conduct unit and system testing, and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Commission MES solutions at manufacturing sites and resolve application issues in production environments.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and travel up to 25% to customer sites for implementation-related activities.
Requirements
- Experience or exposure to MES systems such as AVEVA/Wonderware, Rockwell FT, Siemens Opcenter, or Apriso.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and shop-floor integration.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- At least five years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and Web API development.
- Proficiency in creating and optimizing SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Strong experience building responsive and interactive front-end components with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of SCADA solutions and industrial communication protocols.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Software, Production IT, or a related field is desired.
- Experience implementing and commissioning industrial software at manufacturing sites is desired.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
