Base Salary
$167k - $291k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable, reusable software features and enhance the existing AI Search product suite.
- Develop Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, and search-related UI components using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and platform APIs.
- Modify GraphQL, Java, and scriptable APIs and develop analytics dashboards with database schema and data transformation work.
- Build and maintain interactive administrative interfaces for search and machine-learning capabilities.
- Own code from design through delivery, including automated testing, manual test plans, test suites, and end-to-end test cases.
- Improve QA processes, configure test instances and upgrade paths, and support reliability, performance, and production readiness.
- Work with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to define requirements, acceptance criteria, and integrated test plans.
- Provide technical support for customer-reported search UI/UX issues.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality products.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance optimization.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of software quality principles including reliability, observability, and production readiness.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and optimize performance across the stack.
- Experience with AI-powered tools or workflows, including dataset validation, model predictions, and inference consistency.
- Comfort with IDEs, debuggers, profilers, source control, and Unix-based systems.
- Experience with Java, Jenkins, JUnit, Playwright, Selenium, or similar testing tools is relevant to the role.

- Base pay of $166,500-$291,400, plus equity when applicable, variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
