Base Salary
$120k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support production software applications.
- Create functional, destructive, performance, and other test suites to support reliable releases.
- Contribute reusable foundational code, architectural diagrams, and product documentation.
- Assist with product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and production monitoring.
- Collaborate with product teams to make user stories clear, developer-ready, and testable.
- Lead technical discussions, answer engineering and product questions, and mentor junior engineers.
- Identify team gaps and recommend changes that improve engineering productivity.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, work estimation, refactoring, and legacy-system modernization.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a job-related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Extensive experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL database technologies and data modeling.
- Experience with cloud computing techniques, CI/CD tools, and modern software design patterns.
- Experience with security frameworks for user and service authorization and authentication.
- Experience creating and executing unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests.
- Experience with debugging, root cause analysis, version control, and designing for high availability, disaster recovery, performance, efficiency, and security.
