Responsibilities
- Write code and develop software solutions as part of an Agile software delivery team.
- Apply expertise across the software development lifecycle and partner with stakeholders.
- Contribute to the design, documentation, and development of enterprise applications.
- Decompose acceptance criteria and assess backlog deliverables, complexity, and risk.
- Contribute to software architecture, technical standards, design patterns, and team practices.
- Participate in code reviews, technical communities, and Agile and Scrum processes.
- Collaborate with technical leadership to achieve goals aligned with the broader technical strategy.
- Potentially mentor developers and provide technical leadership for teams of five or more developers.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Developer using Java.
- Multiple years of experience with software engineering best practices, including unit testing, automation, design patterns, and peer review.
- Strong understanding of data structures and object-oriented principles using Java.
- Multiple years of experience with cloud-native development and container orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Multiple years of experience with service-oriented and microservices architectures.
- Exposure to front-end technologies including React, Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Tekton, Harness, CircleCI, and CloudBees Jenkins.
- Multiple years of experience with Agile and iterative software delivery, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Exposure to event-driven design and architecture.
- B.Tech/B.Engg degree or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred exposure to horizontally scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low-latency application architecture.
- Preferred exposure to on-premise and public cloud infrastructure, API management, infrastructure as code, security, observability, monitoring, and job scheduling tools.
- Preferred experience mentoring and providing technical leadership for teams of five or more developers.
