Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack product features using React, TypeScript, Python, APIs, and relational databases.
- Take features from ambiguous requirements through production delivery.
- Design reliable workflows for complex business rules and data-heavy applications.
- Apply strong testing, debugging, and code review practices.
- Collaborate effectively across product and engineering.
- Potentially mentor engineers and lead technical work across a team.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial full-stack product development.
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development.
- Experience building backend APIs and services in Python or a similar language.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling.
- Experience designing reliable workflows for complex business rules or data-heavy applications.
- Helpful experience with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and cloud-hosted applications.
- Helpful experience with data imports, document workflows, background jobs, or audit trails.
- Helpful experience with accessibility, application security, and observability practices.
- Strong communication and ability to work effectively across product and engineering.
