Responsibilities

  • Design and implement IT risk control frameworks, including IT SOX controls.
  • Test IT general controls, IT application controls, IPE-related controls, and interface controls.
  • Build Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Power BI reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, and Power Virtual Agents solutions.
  • Automate repetitive tasks, notifications, approvals, data synchronization, and system integrations using Power Automate.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 applications, SQL databases, APIs, cloud services, and third-party systems.
  • Create advanced Power BI data models, DAX calculations, calculated columns, tables, measures, and visual reports.
  • Use Python and SQL to extract, clean, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
  • Implement security measures, access controls, and row-level security to protect sensitive data and support compliance.
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, IT delivery teams, auditors, security teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Perform security configuration reviews of operating systems and databases and facilitate control remediation activities.
  • Direct daily engagement progress, communicate status to engagement managers, and help manage staff performance.
  • Provide high-quality client services and support a positive learning culture within the team.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and process automation.
  • Knowledge of IT controls, risk and compliance, IT general controls, automated controls, and service organization control reporting.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365 applications, external data sources, APIs, SQL databases, and cloud services.
  • Knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, data modeling, ETL, data visualization, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of Python and SQL for data manipulation and scripting; exposure to R, SAS, Java, C#, Scala, Hive, or Pig is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Azure, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, Common Data Service, connectors, custom connectors, APIs, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge of Power BI security measures, including row-level security, and security controls in Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Ability to perform independent security configuration reviews of Windows, Unix, DB2, AS400, SAP R3/ECC/HANA, Mainframe, SQL, and Oracle environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in mathematics, information systems, statistics, computer science, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • IT audit knowledge for financial audits, including COSO, SOX, and J-SOX, is desirable.
  • Power Platform certifications such as PL-300 or PL-900 are a plus.
  • Experience working in client-facing roles and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
