Responsibilities
- Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and serve as an escalation point for technical challenges.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled applications and services.
- Build React and TypeScript frontend applications using enterprise UI standards and reusable component patterns.
- Develop Python backend services, APIs, MCP services, and integration layers with Fast MCP, FastAPI, and Flask.
- Design and integrate MCP servers and clients for secure context sharing between models, tools, applications, and agent runtimes.
- Develop agentic workflows and modular, skill-based agents using frameworks such as LangChain Deep Agents and Google ADK.
- Create reusable components, services, tool schemas, APIs, SDKs, and integration patterns for enterprise AI applications.
- Integrate logging, tracing, monitoring, evaluation, resiliency, reliability, and agent observability capabilities.
- Prepare applications and services for deployment on OpenShift or Kubernetes and collaborate with AI, platform, product, and architecture teams.
- Provide guidance to less experienced staff and contribute to strategy, planning, compliance, and risk-related activities.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience designing and scaling enterprise GenAI platforms and AI-driven products.
- Expertise in agentic AI, multi-agent systems, RAG architectures, knowledge graphs, long-term memory frameworks, and model orchestration.
- Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, MCP, or equivalent orchestration technologies.
- Understanding of LLMOps, AI platform engineering, CI/CD automation, and production-grade AI deployments.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Kubernetes, microservices, containers, and distributed systems.
- Strong Python experience with Fast MCP, FastAPI, and Flask, plus REST APIs, asynchronous services, and event-driven architectures.
- Expertise with vector databases, graph databases, embeddings, semantic search, and retrieval technologies.
- Experience with AI observability, monitoring, evaluation, resiliency, reliability, security, responsible AI, governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of token economics, AI cost optimization, usage forecasting, and platform efficiency strategies.
- Experience designing reusable APIs, SDKs, and developer frameworks for enterprise adoption.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Playwright, performance testing, code reviews, CI/CD practices, and secure, scalable enterprise applications.
