Responsibilities
- Write and ship production-grade Python and SQL for sensitive, high-volume healthcare data.
- Turn models, features, and LLM pipelines into scheduled, instrumented production services and own them after launch.
- Build and maintain data, model, and application pipelines with logging, monitoring, and reproducibility.
- Create offline and online evaluation systems with metrics and before-and-after comparisons.
- Reproduce, triage, and fix live-system issues, then add tests or monitoring to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and improve model and service cost, latency, and reliability.
- Depending on focus area, build and productionize ML models, develop RAG and agentic pipelines, or build ML platform and MLOps tooling.
- Remain flexible across shifts and locations based on business needs.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Graduation from an IIT, NIT, or other premier engineering institute, with all semesters cleared and an aggregate CGPA of 8.0 or above.
- 0–1 years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, testing, version control, and modular code development.
- Comfort reading unfamiliar codebases and shipping reviewed changes through CI.
- Fluency with SQL and experience working with real-world data at scale.
- At least one ML or AI system built outside a notebook, such as a deployed model, data or feature pipeline, RAG system, or agent prototype.
- Understanding of data leakage, distribution shift, and production success measurement.
- Depth in at least one area: applied ML and evaluation, MLOps and cloud/deployment tooling, or LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks.
- Preferred exposure to AWS, GCP, Azure, containerized deployment, Airflow, Kubeflow, Feast, MLflow, LLM evaluation, guardrails, tracing, observability, or regulated data domains.
