Base Salary
$251k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create reliable Android components and flows using modern technologies such as Jetpack Compose.
- Build in-car interface features that clearly communicate autonomous vehicle intentions and inspire customer trust.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, Product Managers, and Vehicle Software Engineers to launch in-car experiences.
- Design and maintain software controlling in-car displays, audio, and climate systems.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle with emphasis on quality and robustness for safety-sensitive systems.
- Lead technical designs, independently implement significant features or components, and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of Android application development experience, including testing, maintenance, and feature launches.
- Proficiency in Kotlin or Java and strong understanding of Android internals.
- Ability to design and implement significant features or components independently.
- Experience leading technical designs and mentoring other engineers.
