Base Salary

$122k - $155k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain external and internal websites, frameworks, content, and responsive frontend interfaces.
  • Develop custom work-group applications and implement ideas that improve user experience, code quality, and productivity.
  • Manage Linux servers running RHEL and configure and maintain Apache, NGINX, MariaDB, SMTP, DNS, and SSH.
  • Partner with clients, UX and graphic designers, editors, and other collaborators to define and deliver web projects.
  • Provide customer consultation, troubleshoot technical and institutional compatibility issues, and develop system solutions.
  • Document technical solutions, system configurations, and development processes for maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
  • Fundamental knowledge of server architecture and troubleshooting, Linux or Apache, and web development technologies including MySQL, HTML, CSS, Python, React, Angular, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with software and application tools such as Confluence, Docker, Git, or Jira.
  • Experience designing, deploying, or managing solutions in Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience building sites and developing themes, with knowledge of web architecture and design practices including performance, accessibility, UI/UX, prototyping, scalability, compliance, and usability.
  • Ability to contribute to projects and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Preferred qualifications include PHP, MariaDB, MongoDB, and experience creating or modifying modules for Drupal, WordPress, or Liferay CMS platforms.
