Base Salary
$125k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build software tools for system-of-systems performance analysis.
- Conduct analyses and recommend designs balancing competing requirements.
- Develop 6-DOF dynamics simulation models for GNC systems analysis.
- Create physics-based models for RF communications and sensor systems.
- Assess feasibility of various designs for architecture definition.
- Create a library of space and ground systems models.
- Act as a cross-disciplinary expert to meet mission objectives.
- Communicate technical capabilities with stakeholders and customers.
- Iterate on mission design through all program phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, physics, or related field.
- Software development experience in C or C++.
- Active Top Secret clearance preferred.
- 1+ years of experience with modeling and simulation.
- Experience in writing scalable software in a team setting.
- Strong modern software design and development skills.
- Professional programming experience in modern C++ (C++14 and above).
- Master's degree or PhD in physics or engineering preferred.
- Experience in developing state estimation algorithms.
- Experience in RF communication.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
