Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-powered tools for application development.
- Architect and build web technology stacks covering authentication, event tracking, application platforms, and design systems.
- Drive architecture and engineering standards across the team and division.
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications on Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with product, ML, and engineering teams to improve developer experience, close technology gaps, and increase customer adoption.
- Expand the product across customers, domains, and global markets while maintaining engineering quality.
- Integrate AI-powered tools, automation, and AI-driven insights into engineering workflows and decision-making.
- Own projects and outcomes with a high degree of autonomy in a startup-paced environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience building scalable, high-quality applications.
- Expertise in Java, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or Lit.
- Hands-on day-to-day development experience with AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of UI design principles, usability, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with REST, JSON, AJAX, relational databases, event-driven architectures, stateless architectures, functional programming, and abstract data types.
- Demonstrated ability to drive architecture and engineering standards at team or division level.
- Experience integrating AI into engineering processes, workflows, or decision-making.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, critical thinking, product sense, and willingness to learn.
- BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Backend development experience with Java is an added advantage.
- ServiceNow platform certification and/or development experience is a strong added advantage.
