Responsibilities
- Shape platform strategy and technical direction for customers.
- Lead the design and execution of complex, large-scale platform solutions.
- Advise customers and present platform strategies to C-level and executive stakeholders.
- Review and contribute to infrastructure-as-code configurations, including Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Oversee project execution and ensure alignment with customer objectives and technical excellence.
- Lead cross-functional teams, guide architecture decisions, and shape engineering direction.
- Represent SQUER at conferences, industry events, and in the cloud-native community.
- Build customer relationships, support platform strategy discussions, and explore new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in platform engineering, DevOps, and cloud consulting.
- Proven ability to lead technical decisions, architecture discussions, and engineering direction.
- Deep knowledge of designing and implementing large-scale, resilient platform solutions.
- Strong hands-on foundation in platform automation, cloud security, and observability.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing strategic technology decisions.
- Ability to deliver keynotes and presentations and engage with the technology industry.
- Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and explain complex topics clearly.
- Active use of AI-powered tools such as code assistants or LLM-based workflows, or willingness to adopt them.
- Fluency in English and German.
