Responsibilities
- Technically lead the DevOps Scrum team.
- Develop and optimize an on-premise full-stack generic platform for railway products.
- Support development teams with cloud-native application development and deployment.
- Set up and maintain build, release, and deployment pipelines.
- Design and implement robust diagnostics, monitoring, and log-collection systems.
- Improve platform high availability, reliability, and cybersecurity.
- Collaborate in a distributed, international agile team.
Requirements
- Technical degree, preferably in Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience and technical knowledge of cloud and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with containers, container orchestration, CI/CD automation scripting, Linux administration, developer technologies, and monitoring or log-collection solutions.
- Knowledge of technologies including KVM, OpenStack, AWS EC2, VMware vSphere, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Groovy, Python, Bash, Ruby, Ubuntu, Red Hat, Spring Boot, Prometheus, ELK, and Nagios.
- Experience in an international multi-unit or multi-site context is advantageous.
- Experience with agile methodology is advantageous.
- Fluent English and a good level of German.
