Base Salary
$79k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable distributed-system components using distributed state management and data-plane platforms.
- Optimize large-scale data processing and implement performance and load testing.
- Build fault-tolerant systems with redundancy, replication, automatic failover, retries, circuit breakers, timeouts, and recovery-oriented design.
- Implement fault-injection and brownout testing, data replication, synchronization, alarms, dashboards, telemetry, and alerting.
- Diagnose and resolve operational issues, write and execute runbooks, and participate in support rotations, incident response, and root-cause investigations.
- Develop automation scripts, troubleshooting tools, and Infrastructure as Code for cloud infrastructure management.
- Apply encryption, access controls, security remediation, compliance practices, and change-management procedures.
- Review team implementations for scalability and collaborate across teams to deliver service improvements.
Requirements

- US base salary range is $79,200 to $209,500 per annum, with possible bonus and equity.
