Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to build and enhance web applications based on prioritized business outcomes.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using React, Node.js, and related frameworks.
- Develop RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Implement SQL queries to interact with MariaDB databases.
- Use Git for version control and GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in Scrum events and support sprint goals.
- Learn and work within the team’s existing microservices-based codebase.
- Seek mentorship from senior and staff engineers to support continuous improvement.
- Supervisory responsibilities: none.
Requirements
- Foundational proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database queries, including MariaDB.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to clean, maintainable code.
- Willingness to adapt, learn, and receive constructive feedback.
- Excellent communication skills.
