Base Salary

$140k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

Build and own full-stack product features from data models and backend systems through attorney- and client-facing interfaces.
Collaborate with attorneys and AI engineers to turn legal workflows and review practices into reliable software.
Make architecture and tooling decisions that support rapid delivery and future growth.
Write maintainable, production-quality code and own feature reliability after launch.
Help establish engineering standards, culture, and hiring practices as the team grows.
Prioritize customer experience and deliver product improvements with teammates.

Three to four years of professional engineering experience, including building and shipping production software at an early-stage company or as a founder.
Full-stack skills including TypeScript, React, a modern backend stack, and relational databases.
Hands-on experience building features with AI or large language models, professionally or through personal projects.
Experience owning features from conception through production deployment and making sound engineering trade-offs for reliable systems.
Completed computer science degree.
Strong product instincts and ability to work with ambiguity and minimal process.
Legal technology, document processing, or direct experience working with domain experts is helpful.
