Base Salary
$162k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support robust full-stack cloud-based solutions.
- Build and deploy solutions using AWS and other modern technologies.
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to scalable API and system-interface design and documentation.
- Collaborate with Agile teams and product managers to solve business and customer problems.
- Stay current with technology trends, experiment with emerging technologies, and contribute through learning and mentorship.
- Consider cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, audits, risk, and change management in daily engineering work.
- Troubleshoot cloud-environment issues and use observability to identify and optimize distributed-system performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- Preferred: 5+ years coding with Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.
- Preferred: 2+ years with databases and database management systems.
- Preferred: 2+ years with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: 3+ years contributing to open-source frameworks.
- Preferred: 2+ years with frontend JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks.
- Preferred: 3+ years creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs.
- Preferred: 2+ years with infrastructure as code, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred: 2+ years using Git-based version-control systems such as Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Preferred: experience with AI-based coding tools, IDE copilots, interactive AI tooling, and observability for distributed systems.
