Base Salary
$150k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of AI-enabled applications using LLMs, generative AI, intelligent automation, and AI assistants.
- Design scalable copilots, knowledge retrieval systems, workflow automation, and enterprise productivity applications.
- Use AI development tools including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI, and Anthropic platforms.
- Own end-to-end modernization of enterprise applications from legacy platforms to cloud-native architectures.
- Build full-stack applications and secure, performant APIs using TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, React, Python, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Design intelligent workflow orchestration and integrate AI decisioning into long-running processes, task queues, and approval workflows using Temporal.io.
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Establish practices for AI-assisted development, architecture, testing, code quality, security, and responsible AI.
- Conduct technical reviews, mentor engineers, and provide technical leadership for AI-enabled engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience delivering enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, NestJS, React, and modern API development.
- Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI tooling, Anthropic tooling, or similar platforms.
- Experience integrating APIs, third-party services, and enterprise applications.
- Preferred experience includes generative AI applications, LLMs, prompt engineering, model orchestration, AI application architecture, RAG, AI agents, copilots, and conversational AI.
- Preferred experience includes LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDKs, Anthropic APIs, Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, PostgreSQL pgvector, Kafka, Apache Airflow, Apache Flink, Temporal.io, Conductor, and event-driven architectures.
- Preferred qualifications include experience modernizing low-code, legacy, or monolithic systems and cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, or AI-focused cloud technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
