Base Salary

$200k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

Own product modules from customer discovery through launch and iteration.
Design versioned APIs, build user interfaces, and deliver complete product modules.
Design and evolve architecture for AI-enabled web, conversational, command-line, and vendor-integration experiences.
Enable product features for LLM agents through agent tooling and conversational workflows.
Move pricing and business logic into backend services to protect financial accuracy.
Extend typed pricing data models and establish testing, observability, deployment, and performance practices.
Lead architectural discussions, investigate production issues, mentor teammates, and improve engineering practices.

At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including startup experience owning and delivering full product areas at staff-level scope.
Strong backend experience with Python, FastAPI, MongoDB or comparable technologies, server-side business logic, and versioned APIs.
Hands-on React and TypeScript skills with the ability to independently deliver polished user interfaces.
Experience turning ambiguous customer needs into shipped products, including customer discovery, data modeling, and end-to-end delivery.
Experience with AI-enabled products or agent workflows; familiarity with MCP-style tooling is beneficial.
Interest or experience in B2B SaaS monetization, including pricing, packaging, quoting, billing, or CPQ.
Strong attention to correctness, particularly in financial logic.
US work authorization without visa sponsorship.
