Base Salary

$92k - $167k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Verify and validate software and system changes using Agile/Scrum testing practices.
  • Create automated tests with ServiceNow’s Automation Test Framework and test ServiceNow capabilities delivered in each sprint.
  • Translate requirements into test cases, acceptance criteria, test plans, and test data.
  • Perform regression testing and validate complete operational test scenarios.
  • Develop and execute test procedures and support the test manager.
  • Prepare test reports covering results, anomalies, and configuration changes.
  • Document testing progress and defects in Jira.
  • Support configuration management, component-interface analysis, requirements traceability, customer demonstrations, data preparation, and UAT activities.
  • Mentor junior testers as needed.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to complete and maintain additional customer suitability screenings.
  • Ability to work on-site in Washington, DC as the program matures.
  • Current Security+ certification or higher/equivalent.
  • Level IV: bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8–12 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree and 6+ years; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Level V: bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 12+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree and 10+ years; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Experience with test data management, test automation, DevOps, CI tools, source control, and Agile development/testing.
  • Preferred: 1–2 years of ServiceNow administration or configuration experience.
  • Preferred: experience with ServiceNow ATF, Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, scripting, custom applications, and workflows.
  • Preferred: ability to analyze code and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Preferred: understanding of ITIL practices, ITIL certification, AWS cloud certifications, and familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
