Responsibilities
- Design, train, deploy, and monitor classical machine learning models and generative AI solutions.
- Develop production-ready AI agents with multi-step reasoning, tool use, and external API integrations.
- Integrate AI and ML models into user-facing applications through production software and services.
- Build and maintain scalable data and machine learning pipelines for training, deployment, and versioning.
- Implement MLOps monitoring and governance frameworks covering performance, drift, and production reliability.
- Use Google Cloud services to build, host, and scale AI applications in serverless or containerized environments.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to deliver solutions for commercial customers.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, product strategy, and the technical direction of AI initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering or software engineering focused on model deployment.
- Strong machine learning knowledge and practical experience with scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience with large language models and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen.
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, particularly Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Cloud Run.
- Proficiency in Python and understanding of API design, Git version control, and unit testing.
- Experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning is preferred.
- Experience with Tekton or similar cloud-native CI/CD frameworks is preferred.
- A proven record of moving an AI agent or ML model from prototype to a stable, monitored production environment is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners.
- Interest in continuous learning and upskilling in AI and machine learning.
