Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable distributed systems for heavy workloads.
- Architect systems for high throughput and efficient resource utilization.
- Develop distributed algorithms and data processing pipelines.
- Analyze system behavior to identify performance bottlenecks.
- Optimize workloads for maximum efficiency.
- Implement system components primarily in Python and Bash.
- Build custom orchestration and automation mechanisms.
- Create instrumentation and telemetry to measure system performance.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams for smooth deployment.
Requirements
- Strong experience in building distributed systems or large-scale backend infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of systems performance including CPU, memory, and networking.
- Proficient in Python and Bash scripting.
- Experience with parallel processing and large data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Linux systems and performance tuning.
- Strong data-driven mindset focused on measurement and experimentation.
- Ability to debug complex systems in production environments.
