Base Salary
$112k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop solution, data, AI/ML, and application architectures for large or complex transformation programs.
- Define data architecture patterns, models, domains, integration strategies, metadata, lineage, quality, and lifecycle practices.
- Provide architectural leadership for data platforms, data ecosystems, analytical platforms, streaming architectures, and AI/ML platforms.
- Create reference architectures, reusable patterns, and guardrails for AI-enabled and agentic development workflows.
- Advise business, analytics, data engineering, AI/ML engineering, and IT teams on architecture, integration, storage, MLOps, and architectural tradeoffs.
- Ensure solutions address scalability, performance, resiliency, security, privacy, regulatory compliance, model monitoring, and explainability.
- Partner with risk, governance, security, privacy, and business stakeholders to achieve consensus and responsible AI outcomes.
- Explore emerging cloud-native data services, GenAI and AI/ML platforms, vector search, streaming, agent frameworks, and governance tooling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Typically 8+ years of industry-relevant experience.
- Comparable combinations of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong experience in solution, platform, system, application, data, and AI/ML architecture is expected.
- Demonstrated experience enabling AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities at enterprise scale.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data integration, data quality, metadata management, lineage, data platforms, and model governance.
- Experience with enterprise architecture, platform architecture, software product design and architecture, IT standards, and strategic planning.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, risk assessment, and systems-thinking abilities.
- Master’s degree, PhD, certifications, and knowledge of Machine Learning, TOGAF, and enterprise architecture frameworks are preferred or desirable.
