Base Salary
$108k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support service product development through NPI testing and customer-site optimization.
- Develop algorithms and analytics solutions using Python, R, and AI/ML techniques.
- Build and support applications, dashboards, and APIs for R&D and high-volume manufacturing.
- Analyze SPC, FDC, sensor, and equipment data to identify root causes and improve tool reliability.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, demonstrate digital tools, and drive field adoption.
- Translate customer problems into scalable digital solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Lead or support projects that achieve customer-site success KPIs.
- Communicate project status, results, risks, and support needs.
- Document best-known methods, procedures, and lessons learned for training and continuous improvement.
- Support the full software development lifecycle from requirements and design through deployment and maintenance.
- Align SBU digital transformation priorities with product and service roadmaps.
- Engage with internal and external customers regarding engineering issues, digital tool requests, and support needs.
- Serve as a resource for less-experienced colleagues and lead small projects when needed.
Requirements
- Semiconductor field operations experience or strong manufacturing knowledge is required.
- Application design experience for high-volume manufacturing tools and scripting proficiency are required.
- Experience with semiconductor processes and tool maintenance for at least one tool type.
- Experience in software development and application design.
- Experience in high-volume 300 mm semiconductor or display manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to solve complex problems using multiple information sources and sound judgment.
- Ability to communicate difficult or sensitive information clearly and professionally while building alignment and consensus.
- Ability to work across customer, operational, project, and service activities within broad guidelines and policies.
