Base Salary

$125k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and test reliable software across the application suite for flight-system analysis, simulation, prototyping, control, and testing.
  • Own and deliver new features in a scalable, high-performance application.
  • Develop prototypes to validate design concepts and quantify technical constraints.
  • Develop modules for real-time flight-system data streaming.
  • Contribute to test automation and CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Maintain high standards of software engineering and adapt to changing technical requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering.
  • At least 1 year of software development experience using modern C++.
  • Strong software design, development, debugging, performance optimization, data-throughput analysis, and unit-testing skills.
  • Experience with data streaming, real-time data processing, robust and scalable applications, and serialization formats such as JSON, YAML, XML, and Protobuf is preferred.
  • Experience with Python, Java, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, and database systems such as Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle is preferred.
  • Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance, or the ability and willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and work extended hours or weekends when needed.

  • Base salary is listed at $125,000-$175,000 per year depending on level, with additional potential incentives and bonuses excluded from this summary.
