Lead Full Stack Engineer, Vertical Applications

Responsibilities
- Own vertical web applications from idea through production, including architecture, development, deployment, and operations.
- Architect reusable backend services using Python, Java, Ruby, and Node.js.
- Build frontend experiences with React, TypeScript, and Ant Design System connected to REST and Thrift APIs.
- Ship continuously with CI/CD while incorporating observability, resilience, and reliability.
- Use AI-assisted development tools as part of the software development workflow.
- Integrate AI and LLM capabilities into vertical applications.
- Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to define problems and make architectural decisions.
- Mentor fellow engineers, lead technical initiatives, and communicate complex decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a history of owning and operating built systems.
- Deep proficiency in at least two of Python, Java, Ruby, or Node.js.
- Solid React and TypeScript frontend skills.
- Experience with scalable, distributed, high-performance systems and multi-tenant, compliant environments.
- Practical experience with continuous delivery, test-driven development, Agile, and shift-left practices.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini, or Codex, or similar tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate directly with product owners, propose architectures, and build consensus.
- MarTech or AdTech experience, including DSPs, bid stream processing, or data-intensive platforms, is preferred.
- Knowledge of Healthcare, Political, or Retail domains is preferred.
