Responsibilities
- Design and develop UX interfaces for remote train supervision and operation.
- Develop remote operation subsystems, including remote driving consoles, onboard systems, and telecommunications components.
- Manage network and telecommunications challenges, including data-flow optimization and reliable low-latency communication.
- Apply DevOps practices, manage CI/CD pipelines, and integrate third-party APIs and software components.
- Collaborate with robotics, UX, and embedded-systems experts on inter-system communication and integration.
- Participate in laboratory and on-site testing to validate algorithms and ensure software quality, safety, and cybersecurity.
- Propose solutions that improve system ergonomics, scalability, modularity, and performance.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering or a Master’s with significant software development experience.
- Experience designing and developing robotics or perception-system solutions, including computer-vision applications, for embedded or non-embedded systems.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience developing user interfaces with technologies such as Qt, React, or web interfaces.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, and MQTT network protocols.
- Robotics or autonomous-systems experience is a plus.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, uncertain, and international environment.
