Responsibilities
- Finalize requirements with technical personnel and team members.
- Write and review specifications for moderately complex software components.
- Translate product requirements into software designs and implement development work.
- Follow coding best practices, conduct code reviews, and complete bug fixes.
- Develop and test software using Java, JavaScript, web technologies, data manipulation languages, and identity-provider integrations.
- Use GitHub workflows, pull requests, issue tracking, and distributed-team collaboration practices.
- Work with Keycloak, Auth0, or other identity providers, including realm configuration, authentication flows, and OIDC client setup.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams across Agile, Waterfall, and other development environments.
- Resolve technical issues and keep current with technology developments.
Requirements
- Proficiency with data manipulation languages and complex data models.
- Understanding of data modelling principles and data storage subsystems.
- Proficiency with Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, Node.js, React, XML, SQL, Windows, and UNIX.
- Experience with Keycloak, Auth0, or another identity provider, including realm configuration, authentication flows, and OIDC client setup.
- Understanding of code coverage, test-driven development, software development methodologies, and quality-focused coding practices.
- Ability to write and review detailed specifications, complete moderately complex bug fixes, and collaborate with internal and external technology resources.
- Preferred experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Codex.
- Preferred experience using Terraform or another infrastructure-as-code tool and working with Docker and Kubernetes.
