Responsibilities
- Elicit, decompose, allocate, analyze, and maintain stakeholder and lower-level requirements, including interfaces, resources, constraints, compliance, and priorities.
- Design embedded software from system level through software-component level.
- Develop, configure, and integrate software using model-based development approaches.
- Perform system, system-integration, software, software-integration, component static-analysis, and other static and dynamic testing in HiL and SiL environments.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage baselines and variants to preserve traceability among requirements, work products, and test reports.
- Identify, document, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems found during testing.
- Report project status and escalate barriers to the project manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience with embedded software or system development and strong understanding of embedded software technologies.
- Knowledge of hardware-software interfaces and system or software configuration.
- Proficiency in Embedded C, with the ability to write clean, structured, efficient, and documented code.
- Experience with Python or Perl, including data-processing libraries such as Pandas and frameworks such as Django.
- Experience with HiL testing and automated test tools.
- Familiarity and practical experience with V-Model or Agile/Kanban development processes in embedded development.
- Proven experience with Git, Git Actions, and Jenkins.
- Awareness of AUTOSAR, ISO26262, cybersecurity, CAN, LIN, UDS, OBD, and ASPICE.
- Practical experience using AI for research and self-study.
- SiL and model-based-development experience is preferred.
- Communication and presentation skills are preferred.
- Experience with C# and .NET is a plus.
