Responsibilities
- Implement shift-left testing and prioritize automation to test early and frequently.
- Code automated tests during build and regression testing and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Create test plans, execute test cases, and prepare test summary reports.
- Review solution documentation and assist with issue analysis, testing, and resolution.
- Help define user story acceptance criteria and ensure stories meet quality standards.
- Coach and train developers to improve testability and testing skills.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and improve existing automation frameworks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 2 years of automation experience in web or mobile and API testing.
- Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, including test levels, static testing, and dynamic testing.
- Experience managing and delivering test execution across different testing life cycles.
- Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver using Java, Cypress using JavaScript or TypeScript, and mobile automation frameworks.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript or TypeScript, QTest, JIRA, Confluence, Postman, PACT, SoapUI, REST Assured, TestNG, Selenium, and Cypress is ideal, though not all technologies are required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to conduct testing independently in a cross-functional team following Agile processes.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and continuously changing environment.
- Banking or finance industry experience is preferred.
